For development of a new post processor:
1. The one NC/CNC or CAM program to be used
2. The control name, manufacturer and model
3. The machine name, type and model number
4. The number of programmable machine axes
5. The planned maximum number of axes to be
driven simultaneously in one tape line
6. Add-on hardware which will be fitted to
the machine and is special to the setup
(ie., programmable, horizontal indexing
chuck/tailstock for vertical mill, etc)
7. List of probing and/or laser devices
with function descriptions
8. The contouring G code(s) it will use
9. The form of tape output read by the
control (- tape, DNC, floppy, etc).
For revision of a post processor:
1. The system by which it was created
(ie., Spost, NC-Post, Gpost, etc)
2. The system & version utilizing it
(ie., which NC language or CAM
programming software package)
3. The required modification.
